It also is a thicker product closer to ⅜” thickness so people who have baseboards or molding down for laminate or engineered will not have to adjust those. Rigid core is the newest of the four it is a luxury vinyl that is denser in construction this allows for a more durable product that overcomes sub-floor issues and is better for commercial settings that have heavy equipment on it.
