Warehouse Associate
Location: Dalton, GA
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM (includes 1-hour lunch break)
About the Role:
Georgia Carpet Industries is looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. If you’re organized, detail-focused, and enjoy hands-on work, we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
Assist the shipping and receiving clerk with checking in and processing shipments.
Coordinate pickup schedules with freight carriers.
Inspect products for accuracy and damage before they go out.
Keep inventory organized and up to date.
What We're Looking For:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic computer skills required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Forklift experience preferred.
Shipping experience is a plus but not required — we'll train the right person.

Marketing Assistant
Location: Dalton, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Part-Time or Full-Time
Pay: $13/hr during 30-day paid training, with potential for a raise based on performance after training
About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative, motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team at Georgia Carpet Industries! This position is a mix of website and social media work — perfect for someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys digital marketing. If you love creating content, staying up to date with trends, and want to grow your skills in a supportive environment, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do:
Help keep our website up to date with new products, pricing, and descriptions
Create blog posts and online content to boost our visibility
Assist with social media accounts
Design posts, videos, and graphics that connect with our audience and drive engagement
Reply to comments and messages in a friendly, professional way
Help run fun social media campaigns and giveaways
Stay current with the latest trends in social media and digital marketing
What We’re Looking For:
Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
Comfortable using computers and online tools
Good writing and communication skills
Experience using social media
Creative with an eye for detail and design (Canva skills are a plus!)
Organized, reliable, and able to work independently and collaboratively

Online Sales Representative

About the Role:
Georgia Carpet Industries is looking for a motivated Online Sales Representative to join our e-commerce team! If you enjoy helping customers, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit for you. In this role, you’ll connect with online shoppers through phone, chat, and email — helping them find the perfect flooring for their space. You’ll also follow up with customers, manage orders, and make sure every interaction is positive and professional. Don’t worry — there’s no cold calling involved!
What You’ll Do:
Chat with customers online and over the phone to help them find what they need
Send product samples to make shopping easier and more personal
Turn online leads into completed sales
Enter and manage customer orders using our CRM system
Set up shipping rates and handle order details
Follow up with customers to ensure a smooth experience
Learn about our products to give the best advice possible
Support your teammates and contribute to a positive, team-first environment
What We’re Looking For:
Sales experience is great, but not required — we’ll train you!
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using computers and basic math
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
A team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
