Sotuhwind has been in the flooring industry since the early 90s, wholesaling carpet to dealers across the country.  It wasn't until 2015 that Southwind became a player in the hardsurface industry.  I dont feel that Southwind has a superior product compared to other manufacturers, since they all come from China.  Southwind has cornered the WPC, LVT, and LVP market with their design and available inventory.  Even a mist the growing tariff pricing increases, Southwind has managed to keep their product as a front runner in Rigid Core and WPC categories.  Its no surprise that they are one of the largest growing LVP suppliers nationwide.  Their Colonel plank has become somewhat of an icon in low-end flooring solutions.  Leading high end products like the Authentic Plank and Authentic Mix are categorized as waterproof flooring, the main emphasis for home remodels where kid friendly and pet friendly flooring are desired.  Embossed visuals, giving the appearance of real hardwood flooring, are prominent throughout the Southwind line.  When it comes to primarily Carpet companies going rogue and offering hard surface, its no surprise that Southwind is becoming a retail flooring name.
