COREtec Originals Soft Step Premium 7" VV820 Luxury Vinyl Plank

COREtec Soft Step VV820 luxury vinyl plank flooring brings wood-look character, sound-dampening comfort, and waterproof performance together in a versatile 7" × 48" plank. Part of the COREtec Originals Premium collection, VV820 pairs a waterproof foamed WPC core with pre-attached Soft Step underlayment made from recycled materials. Its 20 mil wear layer and UV acrylic finish offer practical protection for everyday living without the sanding and refinishing associated with wood floors.

Picture a quieter bedroom at the end of the day or a more comfortable kitchen floor beneath your feet on a cool morning. Soft Step backing helps muffle footsteps and adds warmth, while realistic wood visuals and enhanced integrated bevels create a defined plank-floor appearance. Soft Step Comfort in a 7-Inch Plank

VV820 offers the Soft Step experience in a 7-inch-wide, 48-inch-long format. The proportions suit a range of room sizes and decorating styles, with wood-inspired choices including Wheat Oak, Feather Walnut, Tawny Beech, and Chromatic Beech. Compare samples to see how each design works with your lighting, cabinetry, and furnishings.

• Quieter footsteps: COREtec reports 70% higher sound absorption than other wood-look floors and describes Soft Step as 2× quieter than other tile floors.
• Warmth underfoot: COREtec reports a 46% higher warmth rating than other wood-look floors and describes Soft Step as 7× warmer than other tile floors.
• Recycled-material backing: The attached Soft Step underlayment is made from recycled materials. This applies to the backing, not the entire plank.
• Waterproof WPC construction: The waterproof foamed core provides the comfortable character of WPC flooring for everyday household spaces.
• Easy-care surface: A UV acrylic finish supports stain resistance and cleanability, while the 20 mil wear layer helps protect the decorative design.
• GREENGUARD Gold Certified: Certified for low chemical emissions, a useful consideration when comparing flooring for indoor spaces.

The sound and warmth figures are COREtec’s comparative Soft Step claims. Actual results depend on the installed floor assembly and site conditions; sound-dampening flooring does not make a room silent.
