    Natural Beauty Beachview LVP

This not a reflection on this store at all. Only on STANTON NATURAL BEAUTY BEACHVIEW LVP, A HIGH END PLANK: It took months to find the color and look in a high end LVP that was EASY MAINTENANCE, pet proof, scratch resistant, water PROOF, and a plus, commercial as well as residential grade. We loved the look - until we had it installed and walked on it. Our lot must be defective. Every single footprint, puppy print shows exactly the trail we walk. It doesn’t matter whether you have clean bare feet, shoes or socks on. You see wherever anyone has stepped. Even clean paws (we wipe them before coming inside due to allergies) show all over. It claimed just a simple sweeping or dust mop does the trick to have a clean floor. That is completely false with ours. Using every authorized heavy duty LVP cleaner, still doesn’t get all the dirt up. I got on my hands and knees, scrubbed small areas at a time for at least ten minutes each, then took a clean cloth to wipe dry to prevent any spots. The cloth still wiped up brown dirt every time. We’ve tried everything allowed in compliance with the warranty. It says you must go the direction of the planks to prevent streaking. It still shows streaks. We noticed if a small sprinkle of clean water drips on the freshly scrubbed planks, the water turns brown leaving a dried dirt spot if you don’t quickly wipe it dry. We have floor matts at each entrance to wipe your shoes before stepping on the LVP. We’ve actually had company apologetic and embarrassed when they see their prints on the floor. Some insisted on taking off their shoes, but we’re shocked to see their footprints clearly outlined as they stepped. Our relatives and friends have LVP as well as LVT and have never had this issue. We got tired of dusting then mopping the entire first floor literally four to six times a day. We had porcelain tile before, very easy to clean, except the grout. We felt waking on others’ LVP and LVT floors that it was softer, easier on my back as well as warmer in the cool months. Thinking a change was for the best, we wanted the best to be our last flooring. Our floating LVP has so many hollow areas that it clicks all the time. It also is as hard as the concrete it was laid over, making even our small dog’s paws loud. Both our daughters who have large dogs walking on their floors, noticed and asked how we didn’t get annoyed by this. Our families thought we’d installed cheap laminate and wasted our money. Everyone has been shocked when I show them the boxes of not yet installed materials. The grandkids always would come in dripping wet from the pool and it dried on its own leaving no marks on our porcelain tiles. Now, if they step on the LVP just from our covered patio, there are tracks left from three to eight small feet! We’ve gotten so exhausted and deflated trying to attempt to thoroughly clean it or at least hide marks that won’t come off without scrubbing, that we bought canvas painting tarps to cover it. We’re in the middle of remodeling, so it just adds to the surroundings. When a contractor nailed a hole into a water pipe, it flooded part of the newly installed floor. The damage adjuster said the water was under the planks and would all need to be removed or the pocket holding water could create mold and and spread because the planks would either buckle or or move. I showed him the manufacturer’s claims of being waterproof and they told me we could install it on our outdoor patio. This professional says those claims are misleading and untrue. If you spill say, a liter of liquid in the middle of the LVP, it shouldn’t get passed the lock in barrier. But any LVP that has a start/end line, water cannot be prevented from sealing under. We’re planning on going back to porcelain tile if STANTON can’t fix this enormous problem. We paid top dollar for nothing. The only problem is we LOVE the color and pattern.when shopping, I said that I didn’t want the woodlook carved grains to keep cleaning easier. However, this LVP has the very slightest, thinnest grooves that I naively believed to be no issue with only top dirt easily dusted off. Unless this is unique to the lot we bought, I would Never recommend this LVP. I just hope Stanton will either come up with a solution or come remove it all and refund our money. It cost just as much to install it as the product itself.
