Luxury Vinyl Plank & Tile:
As the floor covering industry embarks on a customers passion and lifestyle trends, we still find that durability is forever demanding more. In comes luxury vinyl plank and tile, often referred to as LVP or LVT. We all know that vinyl is resilient, which is why its called resilient flooring. But consumers such as yourself, sometimes can't grasp the concept of installing vinyl in a home. Manufacturers such as Southwind, Happy Feet, COREtec, and Karndean have put a new twist to this confusion. Luxury vinyl tile and plank are pieces of cut vinyl that closely relate to an actual piece of tile or hardwood plank. We've been installing hardwood and laminate flooring for years, but can't seem to get the performance that the typical home owner needs. It's intelligent to conclude that color, design, and durability are the backbone to every household project. Luxury vinyl offers all of these aspects. By having individual plank and tiles, the luxury vinyl can be sifted through to give the consumer the best realistic flooring possible, just as tile, stone, or hardwood does. The luxury vinyl tile (LVT) can even be grouted like a traditional tile, using an acrylic grout, that comes in numerous colors. Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) typically only has a pattern repeat every 8 boards, so a mixture during installation proposes a flooring result. And what would a flooring be without some kind of texture? LVP and LVT are embossed on the surface, meaning they have the texture of a tile or hardwood. This maximizes the consumer's ability to achieve the real appeal. LVP and LVT have expanded into a new form called WPC (wood plastic composite) and Rigid Core. These concepts make the LVP more apt for comfort and floating capabilities, not to mention making them waterproof. Waterproof luxury vinyl is the newest dream for inexpensive flooring qualities. Because the imports are cheap to produce, manufacturers are switching to vinyl as a discounted flooring option. Customers have taken the challenge to expand with new flooring options, and are pleased with the results. Georgia Carpet has rallied to stock over 1 million sq/ft of LVP, LVT, WPC, and Rigid floors. We have accepted the decision of the customer and now offer free samples for all customers. The best way to find out is to request a sample. We work with wide range of manufacturer's.
