One of Shaw Carpet’s signature features is Classicbac Backing, created to support the unique needs of individuals. While Shaw has many lines of carpet, this particular collection is specific to ClassicBac. The technology provides superior tuft bind strengths and will not separate from the face carpet. Four things make up ClassicBac Backing: #1 the face yarn, which varies depending on the carpet you pick out, #2 the primary backing that locks the tufts in, #3 an SBR Latex Coat that binds the tuft and adheres to the secondary backing, and lastly #4, the nonwoven secondary ClassicBac backing that adds dimensional stability. Shaw ClassicBac® products are cost-effective, durable, and sustainable for commercial or busy residential environments.
